Description
PE-22-28 is a synthetic seven-amino acid peptide derived from spadin, itself a fragment of the propeptide of sortilin. It is described as a blocker of the TREK-1 two-pore-domain potassium channel, which is widely expressed in the central nervous system. The short sequence corresponds to residues 22 to 28 of the parent propeptide. First described in the 2010s. Supplied as a white lyophilized powder, soluble in water. Strictly for research purposes only.
