Description

Adamax is an adamantane-modified analog of Semax, itself a synthetic heptapeptide derived from the ACTH(4-10) fragment with a Pro-Gly-Pro stabilizing tail. The adamantyl group is a bulky cage-shaped hydrocarbon added to increase lipophilicity and resistance to enzymatic breakdown relative to the parent peptide. Studied in laboratory neuropeptide research alongside the Semax and Selank series. Supplied as a white to off-white lyophilized powder, soluble in water, stored refrigerated at 2-8 C.
