Description
Prostamax is a synthetic tetrapeptide (Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro, KEDP) from the Khavinson short-peptide series, associated with prostate tissue in the source literature. It is a defined synthetic peptide, distinct from the prostate-derived polypeptide complexes that share its research lineage. In organotypic explant culture KEDP has been reported to act tissue-specifically on prostate explants.
