ARA-290, also called cibinetide, is a synthetic 11-amino acid peptide derived from the helix B domain of erythropoietin. The parent hormone’s tissue-protective activity is separated from its haematopoietic activity, so ARA-290 does not stimulate red blood cell production. It is described as acting through the innate repair receptor, a heteromer of the EPO receptor and the beta-common receptor. Supplied as a white lyophilized powder, soluble in water, stored refrigerated. This product is strictly for research purposes only.
