Description

B7-33 is a synthetic single-chain peptide analog of human relaxin-2. The native hormone is a two-chain molecule held together by disulfide bonds; B7-33 reproduces the B-chain sequence in a single chain without the A-chain, greatly simplifying synthesis. It is described as a biased agonist at the RXFP1 receptor, favouring one downstream signalling branch over another. First reported in 2016. Supplied as a white lyophilized powder, soluble in water.
