Description
AHK-Cu is a copper(II) complex of the tripeptide alanyl-histidyl-lysine (Ala-His-Lys). It is structurally related to GHK-Cu but carries alanine in place of glycine at the first position. Like other copper-binding tripeptides, the histidine imidazole and the terminal amine coordinate the copper ion. Studied in laboratory work on dermal fibroblast and follicular models. Supplied as a blue to blue-purple lyophilized powder, water-soluble, protected from light. This product is strictly for research purposes only. Not approved for human or animal use.
