Description
IGF-1 LR3 is a modified analog of insulin-like growth factor 1 carrying two changes: an arginine substitution for glutamic acid at position 3, and a 13-amino acid extension at the N-terminus. The arginine substitution greatly reduces binding to IGF binding proteins, and the extension further alters the molecule’s interaction profile. The result is a longer-persisting analog than native IGF-1. Supplied as a white lyophilized powder, reconstituted in dilute acetic acid. Strictly for research purposes only.
